What is the best nut milk maker to buy in 2026?
Recently, I purchased the Novalife nut milk maker machine on Amazon. Since then I have found this machine is not only great at making homemade nut milk, but is really a replacement for a blender and a stove.
There are a lot of blog posts and videos that share their reviews of nut milk machines that they barely even use in their own meal prep routine. In this blog post, I’m going to share with you a lot of video tutorials of how I use my nova life nut milk machine for everyday meal prep.
I literally use this machine 2 to 4 times every day to cook meals for my family.
If you’re going to purchase a nut milk maker, in my opinion, it’s best to buy one that can do a lot of work meal prepping for you, not just make nut milk.
Let me explain.
I prefer to purchase small kitchen appliances that can be used to make more than just one type of recipe. Instead of owning a whole bunch of appliances that I have to find storage for, I like to purchase kitchen appliances that can be used for a variety of meal prep techniques.

One of the most talked about nut milk makers is the Nama M1 Plant Milk Maker. This is the most expensive nut milk maker available on Amazon.
- This machine advertises that it makes very smooth and creamy nut milk as well as oat and seed milk.
- This machine includes a strainer.
- This machine costs over $400.
- This machine cannot cook any food or purée anything.
- This machine cannot boil water.
- This machine cannot clean itself.

Almond Cow Nut Milk Maker Machine, Plant-Based Milk Maker for Almond, Oat, Cashew, Soy Milk
Another very popular nut milk machine, that is also very expensive, is the Almond Cow nut milk maker machine. This was probably one of the very first popular small kitchen appliances in this category however, this machine also cannot heat up. It can only blend and strain nut milks.
Another downside to this nut milk maker is that you have to put the nuts into a small canister, which means you cannot make juices with large fruits or vegetables or sorbet with this machine. It is basically just a blender and a strainer for cold nut milks.
And at the price point that they sell this machine, in my opinion, it is simply not worth purchasing because it can only do this one meal prep.
Lastly, I have read in some of the comments of customer reviews that even though this machine has a strainer, they still end up having to use a nut milk bag to strain their nut milk because it simply did not strain the milk enough. This basically makes this machine only a blender. And if you already have a blender, this is even more unnecessary of a purchase in my opinion.
One positive thing I can say about the Almond Cow brand is they have very great marketing and recipe tutorial videos on their YouTube page. I do recommend checking out what they have to offer on their channel.
