Here’s a summary of the process:

• Washing the rice (0:19): Before cooking, it’s important to wash the brown rice in fresh water multiple times until the water becomes clearer. This helps remove dirt or sediment.
• Measuring the rice and water (0:36, 2:34): For brown rice, the recommended ratio is two cups of water for every one cup of rice (2:37–2:49).
• Using a rice cooker (1:47): The video recommends an Elite Gourmet rice cooker with a stainless steel inner pot (1:50–2:09), noting it can cook up to five cups of rice and keeps it warm after cooking (2:09–2:16).
• Cooking process and tips (2:51):
  • Ensure the steam vent is not under a cabinet to prevent moisture accumulation (2:58–3:15).
