Easiest Way to Strain Almond Milk
I used nut milk bags for years and eventually gave up on straining my nut milks. It was too messy and took too much time. With kids and other responsibilities, straining my nut milks for 20 minutes wasn’t a prioritiy.
Now, I make homemade nut and soy milk everyday! I’m able to do this because of the nut milk bag alternative strainer I recently purchased (see photo below).
This costs just about $19 and I highly recommend it! Here’s a video showing how easy it is to strain nut milk. It’s also zero mess and I can strain the milk multiple times in just a few minutes with almost no effort.

I make soy milk (see videos below), almond milk, oat milk, walnut milk, hemp milk, flaxmilk, juices, and smoothies in this blender. It has basically replaced my Vitamix blender!
The best part is the Novalife is very inexpensive. It is about $80 regularly on Amazon, however I’ve purchased two at a discounted rate of about $50.

- Lower cost
Pros:
- Affordable
- Easy for beginners
- Quick results
Cons:
- Inconsistent texture
- Less durable
- Can produce foam or sediment
