Daniel Fast breakfast scramble recipe

This quick, delicious and easy vegan breakfast scramble is a great meal to start the day whole fasting.
Ingredients
- 1 package package firm or extra firm tofu or 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas (mashed)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp iodized salt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vegan mayo, optional
How to make tofu scramble:
- Drain the package of tofu.
- Heat a large skillet.
- Add crumbled tofu into the pan and toss.
- Add ground turmeric powder and vegan mayo.
- Stir into scramble.
- Heat thoroughly, about 3 minutes.
How to make chickpea scramble:
- Drain chickpeas.
- Place chickpeas into the pan.
- Heat on medium high heat for several minutes.
- Use a potato masher to mash the chickpeas.
- Add ground turmeric powder and vegan mayo.
- Sauté another minute and serve.
Serving:
- Enjoy with Unleavened Flatbread with avocado and salsa
- In a burrito.
- In a bowl with hot sauce.
- Add 1 cup baby spinach to the skillet to make this an alkalizing recipe.
