What are meal prep meals?
- Meal prep is a term used to describe the process of preparing meals ahead of time. Usually they are portioned into meal prep containers.
Bentgo meal prep containers
For this meal prep I like to use Bentgo meal prep containers. Their 60-piece set comes with 30 containers with lids in a variety of sizes. These are compartmentalized reusable containers. I like buying the set because I can meal prep an entire week of meals into these containers at one time to store in my fridge and freezer.

Here’s what I packaged for a week of fasting meals without chopping or cooking.
- All ingredients came from a recent vegan Trader Joe’s grocery haul.
- I choose a variety of already prepped ingredients and some frozen packages. I chose mostly organic ingredients.
- I prepped all these meals for just about $85!
- These meals closely follow the 7-Day Daniel Fast meal plan (free printable PDF).
Breakfast no cook meal prep

- Breakfast bars with fruit for four days
- Tofu tacos for three days
