- In a blender, add 3 frozen bananas.

The Wholesome Sweeteners brand of molasses is unsulphured and organic, which I prefer. I’ve also found the nutrition facts for thsi product show a lot more plant based iron. This brand includes a lot of magnesium as well.

Organic Raw Cacao Powder
I like to purchase the Z Natural Foods Organic Raw Cacao Powder in bulk on Amazon. It’s packed with magnesium, protein and lots of other great nutrition without adding a lot of fat.

Raw Almond Butter
Almonds are another good source of magnesium. Adding raw almond butter to this recipe gives it some fat and flavor.
- Add 2 tablespoons Raw Almond Butter
Water
Add just a little bit of water to help everything puree. This is optional. Just 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup is all you need. If you want to make this a Chocolate Magnesium Drink, add 1-2 cups of water.
Directions
Simply combine all ingreidents together in a blender and blend on high speed until creamy. Transfer to a storage container and freeze for 30 minutes or overnight. Or, enjoy immediately if desired.
