Daniel Fast hummus recipe
This recipe is the perfect addition to your Daniel Fast meal prep routine because it’s packed with plant-based protein from the white beans. Make this ahead of time and store it in the fridge for 2-3 days. Serve with Unleavened Bread and veggie sticks. You can also smear this on a sandwich!
White Bean Hummus
Makes 2-3 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 can Organic White Beans (Great Northern White Beans or Cannellini Beans)
- 1 clove Garlic, peeled
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil (optional)
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground Cumin Seed
- 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup water
Directions:
- In a food processor puree beans and garlic until almost smooth.
- Add olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika and salt. Puree until smooth. Add water until desired consistency.
- Transfer spread to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and paprika.
Tips:

- Substitute Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas) or use a combination of Garbanzo and White Beans, if desired.
