Easy homemade turmeric chai latte recipe
This quick and easy vegan turmeric chai latte can be prepared in less than five minutes and taste delicious.
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 8 ounces boiling water
- 1 chai tea bag or serving of chai tea powder
- 4 ounces hot organic soy beverage or other creamy beverage
- Sweetener, if desired
- Dash cinnamon, sprinkled on top, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
Directions
- Combine turmeric powder, boiling water, chai tea, soy beverage, sweetener in a mug and stir well.
- Let tea bag (if using) steep according to package directions.
- Remove tea bag and enjoy latte, or let cool and store in an airtight beverage container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Serve cold over ice or reheat before enjoying.
You can also add 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger powder to make this a Golden Milk Turmeric Latte.
