Chapter 1 Daniel 8

There are so many fruit options! I like to fill my kitchen with a variety of fruits, here’s some of my favorite for snacking:

Applesauce squeeze packs as well as cups make a quick and delicious snack. They are sweet and packed with fiber. Some squeeze packs contain a mixture of vegetables and fruits. Apple sauce cups are great with cinnamon topping as well.

Nuts are also packed with vitamins and minerals, as well as protein. Just a few nuts contains a lot of nutrition. There’s a variety of ways to enjoy nuts as a snack for Daniel Fasting, including raw, roasted, nut butter, trail mix, and nut milk.

If you’re looking for something salty to snack on during the fast, a pack of Organic Seaweed Snacks is a great option. They now come in a variety of flavors too. Seaweed is packed with vitamins and minerals and reminds me of potato chips. I like to buy these in bulk and keep them in my pantry and car.
Kale chips
Kale chips are packed with nutrition and protein. I like to make homemade Kale Chips for the Daniel Fast in my air fryer. They cook quickly in the air fryer, about 9 minutes at 370ºF. I toss baby kale with olive oil and vegan parmesan cheese made with cashews. Then sprinkle with Onion Garlic Salt. Air fry the baby kale chips on natural parchment paper until browned, tossing 1-2x during the cooking time.
You can also purchase Organic Kale Chips in a bag. These have a pretty long shelf life and come in a variety of flavors. Keep them in the pantry or car for when you need a quick and hearty snack.
